The Royal College of Art will be in Liverpool, UK on 20 March 2024!

We use words to describe the places in which we live and work, but how might we use words to create such places, too? And how might we use words and conversations, writing and publishing, as spaces of their own, as places in which new communities might gather and grow?

These questions will be considered by Thomas Aquilina (member of the architecture collective Afterparti and co-director of New Architecture Writers, and tutor in Architecture at the Royal College of Art, London) and Jeremy Millar (artist and Head of Programme, Writing MA at the Royal College of Art, London).

The discussion will be chaired by Laura Robertson, writer, critic, and co-founder and contributing editor of The Double Negative, Liverpool.
