Jelly Drops
Winner: Snowdon Award for Disability
Jelly Drops are bite size, super-hydrating treats that people with dementia find engaging and safe to eat. This stigma free source of hydration meets the needs and utilises the abilities of people with dementia in a way that promotes more enjoyable interactions between caregivers and residents. Jelly Drops are intuitive and easy to eat. They provide an important source of fluid that allows people with dementia to independently hydrate themselves, reducing their dependence on carers and increasing their quality of life.
