RCA Secret is very special to the Royal College of Art. Over the last quarter-century, the original postcard art exhibition has become as much a part of the College’s fabric, history and identity as its crest – and celebrates the ethos and cross-disciplinary creative practices that are so unique to the world’s leading college of art and design.
With 24 exhibitions firmly under our belt, the College wants the 25th RCA Secret to be a truly celebratory moment. Which is why, to mark this special milestone, we are excited to announce that we will be launching the exhibition to coincide with the opening of our new building at Battersea next year (2020).
Due to these transformational campus developments and the associated schedule of work, the RCA is unable to hold Secret in 2019. Students have always been, and continue to be, our priority and as such all available gallery space has been temporarily converted into workshop/ studio areas.
We appreciate the place that RCA Secret holds in many hearts, and while the College will miss it this year we feel strongly that the exhibition needs the space it deserves and that you, it's strongest supporters, are able to fully participate. Watch out for more details in 2020.
Please do not email firstname.lastname@example.org until future announcements are made, as this mailbox will not be monitored during this interim period. Thank you.
In the meantime, please support students to complete their studies and make a gift to the RCA Fund today.
