Royal College of Art and London Business School Collaborate
The Royal College of Art (RCA) and London Business School (LBS) have entered into a new partnership that will enhance the innovation and entrepreneurial skills of their students.
The initial three year partnership allows students to benefit from each institution’s world-leading and complementary expertise. It also provides design and business students the opportunity to work together and to gain a different perspective and new skills from interdisciplinary collaboration.
As part of the partnership, 40 students studying an MA from the RCA’s School of Design are able to take six business course modules offered by LBS, and work in interdisciplinary teams on innovation projects for business with LBS students. Similarly, 40 LBS students have the opportunity to take five RCA design course modules this academic year. In addition, RCA academics are also delivering a course titled Design Led Innovation to over 170 LBS MBA students in March this year.
Both institutions are recognised as the world leaders in their respective disciplines and the goal of this collaboration is to create a new generation of creative business and design leaders, as well as to pioneer new models for interdisciplinary innovation.
