Jonathan P. Watts (he/him) is an artist and educator who writes and curates exhibitions.

Jonathan is co-director of Josey gallery, Norwich. Jonathan has published widely on contemporary art. In 2024, Jonathan completed a PGCert in Creative Education with the RCA. 

Jonathan is a PhD candidate at Norwich University of the Arts, where he is using archives to explore EASTinternational, an annual open-submission exhibition selected by invited guests – renowned artists, critics and gallerists – that occurred in NUA annually from 1991 to 2009. Jonathan’s research explores artist-centred exhibition-making practices, legacies of decentralisation, and transnational solidarities.
