Alexandria is a mixed media visual artist and co-organiser of the collective Black Women Artists for Black Lives Matter.

Alexandria is an Illustration graduate from Syracuse University, and has an MA in Art Education from New York University as well as an MFA in Painting and Drawing from Parsons The New School for Design. She was the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and is currently exhibiting her  first solo museum show, Monuments to an Effigy at the Queens Museum, New York.

Before joining the RCA, Alexandria was Assistant Professor of Studio Art at Wellesley College in Wellesley, MA. Previously, she was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Printmaking at the University of Iowa from 2015–16 and also served as Visiting Critic at Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) and SMFA.
