Studying at the Royal College of Art places you in London: a city internationally renowned for its creativity, culture and diversity - the perfect place to develop your creative career in. What do prospective students need to know about living and studying in the UK?

You’re invited to meet Prof. Christoph Lindner (President and Vice-Chancellor of the Royal College of Art) and Prof. Rut Blees Luxemburg (Reader in Urban Aesthetics, Senior Research Fellow, Photography MA) in Tokyo for an in-person conversation about studying at the RCA.

What to expect

Thursday 23 October 2025, 1-5pm

Series of one-to-one meetings with Prof. Rut Blees Luxemburg (Reader in Urban Aesthetics, Senior Research Fellow, Photography MA). This is a great opporuntity to ask personalised questions and bring your portfolio for review.

Please only book 1 session per person to allow other the opportunity. If we see you have booked two sessions then we may cancel the latest booking in order to free up the space.

We'd love you to join for all parts of the event but if you can only join for part of it, that's fine too.

Who is this event for

  • Those interested in postgraduate study at the Royal College of Art
  • Current RCA applicants and offer-holders
  • Friends and family are also welcome to join, though please ensure they have a ticket to the talk and Q&A event. Please note, they do not need to have a ticket to join the one-to-one meetings with you.

You don't have to specialise in any discipline to attend this event: we welcome guests planning to apply to all subject areas.

Due to the postgraduate nature of RCA study, all attendees must be over 18.
