You're invited to join us in New York at the NPDA fair to learn about the world's number 1 art and design university!

Studying at the Royal College of Art places you in London: a city internationally renowned for its creativity, culture and diversity - the perfect place to develop your creative career in. What do prospective students need to know about living and studying in the UK?

You’re invited to meet Dr Spyros Bofylatos (Tutor Research on Design Products MA) and Stephanie Limuaco (Head of Student Recruitment & Marketing) in Mexico City for an in-person conversation about studying at the RCA.

What to expect

Sunday 9 November 2025, 12-4pm

How long is a portfolio review?

Most reviews are 10 to 15 minutes in length.

What format should my portfolio be in?

Portfolios can be physical or presented digitally. If bringing a digital portfolio student needs to supply a laptop, tablet, or printed pieces to present to reviewers.

What should I include in my portfolio?

We recommend that you include a range of your work, up to 10-12 pieces. Often times, schools are interested to learn your process and method of thinking, so not all work needs to be finished, and works in progress are also welcome.

Who is this event for

  • Those interested in postgraduate study at the Royal College of Art
  • Current RCA applicants and offer-holders
  • Friends and family are also welcome to join, though please ensure they have a ticket

You don't have to specialise in any discipline to attend this event: we welcome guests planning to apply to all subject areas.

How to join

The event is free to attend, but please note that places are limited. Pre-booking is essential to guarantee your spot.

I'm thinking of applying to the RCA - can I have an informal portfolio chat?

Yes! We're delighted you're thinking of starting your RCA journey. Please bring your portfolio to the fair to have it reviewed by our faculty.

Or join us at our own event on Saturday 8 November 2025. Come along to discover more about the RCA, have your portfolio reviewed and meet the faculty. Find out more and register for a ticket on Eventbrite.
