The Royal College of Art takes part in BEYOND2023, a unique gathering of current and future innovators focused on Research and Development across the Creative Industries.

The RCA's School of Communication presents their innovative XR, VR and AR projects as part of The Immersive Futures Lab at Beyond Conference 2023.

Joining a range of creative projects that demonstrate innovative ideas, new types of content and novel uses of technologies drawn from the cutting-edge R&D work developed by XR Stories, Squid Soup and Adapt AI as well as three special guest projects from Ithra, Saudi Arabia.

The RCA showcase, titled 'New Narrative Ecologies', presents new, meaningful and accessible ways to tell immersive stories in our world today, experimenting with creative ideas driven by urgent ethical, environmental and social imperatives.

Visitors will be able to interact with the works and gain perspectives from the practitioners and researchers involved in their development.
