Helen is a creative designer and researcher, passionate about the role of design and design thinking to improve quality of life. As a designer, she has worked in the FMCG industry, design consultancy and design communications. As a researcher, Helen has recently completed a research project funded by the Department for Education, around the recruitment and retention of foster carers. She began work at the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design in January 2014 on the Autism Project, and is now working as a project researcher on the Future London Taxi.

Biography

Helen graduated with a first class honors in Product Design from the University of Edinburgh in 2012. After University she continued to develop her award-winning infection control products, designed during her final year of study. The products are currently going through external development and testing. Helen runs her own company, which provides product design, graphic design, creative research, branding and illustration services
