Avi leads the RS5 research studio in Environmental Architecture. His work takes as its departure point the nexus of ecology, epistemic violence and anti-colonial struggle in the contexts of the US southwest and India, in order to interrogate the relationship between devalorisation and environmental violence.
Avi is an artist, researcher, and doctoral candidate at the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths, University of London. He holds an MA from the Centre for Research Architecture, Goldsmiths and a BA from Amherst College. He has taught as an Associate Lecturer previously at Goldsmiths.
