The RCA GREAT Scholarships are for students from India and Turkey for any one-year taught Master’s programme. We have one award of £10,000 available for each country for September 2026 entry. All awards will be paid as a tuition fee discount.
Please note that eligible applicants for the GREAT Scholarship must hold a Round 1 or Round 2 programme offer for an RCA one-year taught Master’s programme and be passport holders of India or Turkey, paying Overseas fees.
The GREAT Scholarships 2026 programme, launched by the British Council together with over 60 UK universities, supports postgraduate students from 18 countries to access world-class UK higher education opportunities.

How to apply
All Round 1 and 2 offer holders will be contacted by email to complete a single RCA scholarship application in spring 2026. This will ask for more information about you, your circumstances and your goals for the future. Make sure you have enough time to prepare strong answers. We will assess your responses and your programme application when making scholarship decisions.
Once you have a programme offer and you are sure that you meet the eligibility criteria, please complete this form to register your interest in being considered for a GREAT Scholarship.
GREAT Scholarships may be combined with external funding as long as this does not cover 100% of your tuition fees. You do not need to apply directly for the GREAT Scholarships or any other individual RCA awards; instead, your single RCA scholarship application will be marked against the criteria for all the scholarships that are available.
Successful candidates will be required to represent the RCA and the British Council as an ambassador for the GREAT scheme.
