Encompassing over 2,400 postgraduate students across the RCA’s four schools – Architecture, Arts & Humanities, Communication and Design – RCA2023 will feature an international cohort of emerging artists, designers, architects and creative practitioners.

There are two opportunities to see the incredible work of RCA students this year:

RCA2023 at RCA Battersea & Kensington

From 30 June to 3 July, MA students who started in September 2022 will be offering visitors an insight into the RCA’s work and creativity, through exhibitions, events, interactive activities and discussions with artists, designers and creative practitioners.

Over 1,300 students will be showcasing their work across the RCA’s Battersea and Kensington campuses. Specialisms include

Animation, Ceramics & Glass, City Design, Contemporary Art Practice, Curating Contemporary Art, Design Products, Digital Direction, Environmental Architecture, Fashion, History of Design, Information Experience Design, Intelligent Mobility, Interior Design, Jewellery & Metal, Painting, Photography, Print, Sculpture, Service Design, Textiles, Visual Communication and Writing.

Open to the Public from 12–6pm (plus late opening on Friday 30 June until 7.30pm).

RCA2023 at Truman Brewery

From 13 July to 16 July, MA students who started in September 2021 will be putting on a Graduate Show at the Truman Brewery.

Over 1,000 students will be showcasing their final year work, supported by a series of events, screenings and other activities. Specialisms include Animation, Architecture, Ceramics & Glass, Contemporary Art Practice, Design Products, Fashion, ICL/RCA Global Innovation Design, ICL/RCA Innovation Design Engineering, Information Experience Design, Interior Design, Jewellery & Metal, Painting, Photography, Print, Sculpture, Service Design, Textiles and Visual Communication.

Open to the public from 12–6pm (except for a 5pm closure on Thursday 13 July and a 7.30pm late opening on Friday 14 July).

The physical exhibitions and events are supplemented by a digital platform allowing visitors from across the world to:

  • discover content by programme, theme and collections
  • find details of physical events as party of each exhibition
  • follow your favourite artists, designers and architects on their social media
  • buy works from the RCA's Shopify site.
