A weekend programme of new music, sound, film, and discussion, exploring how the contemporary arts can help us better relate to risk and warning.
How do our senses help us find poetry in moments of uncertainty and urgency? A weekend programme exploring touch, multisensoriality and rhythm in our universe of warnings, with live performances and a workshop.
Featuring new performances and contributions by Valentina Magaletti, Aura Satz, Mark Titchner, Ximena Alarcon-Diáz, Amina Abbas Nazari, Dali de Saint Paul, Carina Fearnley, Kyle Kean, Ilan Kelman, James Saunders, Holly Thomas and Sibusisu Tshabalala. The programme activates and displays a collection of conceptual artworks, artistic scores, protest materials and public warning systems curated by Francesca Cavallo and Irene Revell (which will be available to view in the Reading Room).
