RCA x SNAP SPECS is a year-long collaboration exploring augmented reality (AR), emerging technologies, and their social, cultural, ecological and creative implications, and this is the final staging of the project.
Join us on Saturday 26 September at RCA Battersea to see the results of our collaboration with Snap Inc. 🚀
Over the past year, students from across 20 of our programmes at the Royal College of Art have collaborated with Snap Inc. to test the boundaries of emerging technologies and their social, cultural, ecological and creative implications using Snap's cutting-edge Spectacles in RCA x SNAP SPECS.
The results of this year-long partnership exploring new approaches to AR through co-creation, critical research, experimentation and making will be shown at this event through presentations, demonstrations and workshops led by the participants.
Students worked with Snap’s Specs, under the guidance of Jack Hardiker-Bresson, Tom Simmons, Shira Wachsmann and Shahwali Shayan, alongside a series of industry and academic guests.
