Students from MA Architecture present a selection of work in progress.

Step inside the world’s leading university for art and design to discover the next generation of architects and designers as they bring their ideas to life.

Inside you will find projects that challenge contemporary culture: from parallel realities (ADS14), and petromasculity(ADS4), to sports practice as a medium for rehearsing alternative futures (ADS8). You will see some projects that explore daily habits as sites for radial change (ADS7), or act as a sandbox to redefine our forms of living (ADS12) , while others engage with how faith can move mountains (ADS9), or the collective flow of theatre practice (ADS0).

The research and experiments on display reimagine the future of practice: some work explores new material relations (ADS6), or material practices across furniture and building scales (ADS5), while others push you to think about Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (ADS15) or the savage architectures of Baroque Ecologies (ADS10). At each scale the works reveals the profound entanglement of our cities and the natural world(ADS13), the subterranean worlds we have carved into the earth (ADS11) and toxic waterways, from local explorations of the Thames (ADS3), to those that seek to mobilise water as a site of struggle for repair, sovereignty, and care (ADS2).
