The next event in the Inside/Out Lecture Series from Interior Design MA will welcome Dellekamp Arquitectos to explore their recent work.

Derek Dellekamp is the Director and Founder of Dellekamp Arquitectos. His work has been part of the Biennale di Venezia, the Chicago Biennial, and the Quito Architecture Biennial. In 2010, his project of the Ruta del Peregrino was selected to be part of the Architecture Collection for the Pompidou Center in Paris; and in the same year, Dellekamp was also invited to speak at the Rice Design Alliance. Recently, the practice obtained second place in the International Prize for Sacred Architecture with the Santuario Señor de Tula (Dellekamp / Schleich + AGENdA). In 2021, his work was featured in the New York Times article "The Architects Who, After a Devastating Earthquake Rebuilt a Town”.

In addition, Derek Dellekamp is a visiting Professor at the Rice School of Architecture (2011) and invited as a Professor to the University of Texas at Austin (spring 2012). Teacher at AA Summer School (2016). In 2009, the Architectural League of New York selected his work for their Emerging Voices award.
