CAP Festival 2022: Hybrid Realities

We’re dipping, diving, riding, freewheeling. This is hardcore pixel parkour. I’ve got my right foot on red and my left foot on green. I’m a digital-physical Twister, a multitude of lives intertwined. It’s a new rhythm. Are you onboard? Slide left, criss cross, follow our every move. We’re taking you on a loop the loop. Roller coaster ride. This is not a pale reality, a faint flicker: this is full resolution in multi-coloured squares. Jump on it.

80 artists who met on the Contemporary Art Practice MA at the Royal College of Art. Lean into the chaos. We’re on the World Wide Web: a collapsed crunchy reality with a sprinkle of the future. Physical/digital physical/digital the two run again and again into each other, over and over. There is no line, there are no boundaries. You’re Away-From-Keyboard/AFK*, You’re Logged In/On. Multiple platforms sport our selves. These are our Hybrid Realities.
