BLOWOUT invites visitors to continue the journey started by ActionSpace artists Pardip Kapil and Linda Bell during their 6-month residency at One Trust day centre in South London - making, movement and activation blurred into a boundless sculptural party.

About ActionSpace and the residency programme
ActionSpace supports adults with learning disabilities across London, providing access to creative studios, professional guidance, and opportunities they need to grow and thrive. They ensure that learning disabled artists are seen, heard, and fully included at the heart of the visual arts world.
The residency programme was part of Wandsworth's London Borough of Culture programme. It brought artists directly into the community, providing long-term creative engagement and highlighting the talents of learning-disabled artists. Over several months, the artists shared their practices with staff and engaging service users in creative workshops, fostering collaboration and experimentation. Each residency provides a unique opportunity for participants to explore new ways of making, while supporting learning disabled artists to develop their practice in community contexts.
