Graduates from the RCA’s School of Design and School of Arts and Humanities will be exhibiting their works and emerging practices as part of the inaugural Battersea Design District at London Design Festival 2023.

This is a cross section of emerging talent encompassing Design, Art, Craft and Fashion, responding to themes that are at once global and Pan-Human, subjective and personal.  There is a sense of urgency to the works; to address grave matters, to make a landing in the post-education world, to express and be acknowledged.

Battersea is renowned for its pioneering design heritage, with firsts in engineering and transport as well as a place for inventions and industry that have changed London and the world.

The Battersea Design District is joining the London Design Festival for the first time in 2023. This partnership celebrates local heritage while also spotlighting the neighbourhood’s creative communities and emerging innovation in the dynamic London Borough of Wandsworth.
