Shannon Larkin

Shannon is a design educator, strategist, and researcher exploring themes of inclusive design, sustainable futures, and the transformative potential of co-creative, participatory practices.
Shannon’s multidisciplinary approach to design aims to work towards more sustainable and equitable systems, services, and spaces. Her work explores themes of care, eco-social resilience, storytelling, and community-building. Shannon previously worked in management consulting at Deloitte, in design research at the Royal College of Art, and as a lecturer across several of the UK’s leading art and design institutions.
Her practice spans a wide range of sectors, including public services, health, climate justice, and community organising. She has collaborated with start-ups, cultural institutions, and government bodies on projects ranging from service design to speculative environmental futures. Shannon currently teaches on the BA (Hons) Design Management at University of the Arts London and the Design Futures MDes at the Royal College of Art.
