Antoine Hacheme is the Snap Visualisation Lab Manager at the Royal College of Art, responsible for the development, operation and technical delivery of the lab and its facilities.

Research interests
Antoine’s interests include immersive and spatial computing, interactive environments, real-time visualisation, human-computer interaction and the relationship between digital systems and physical space.
He is particularly interested in accessible creative technology, and in developing tools, workflows and technical systems that allow designers and artists to work with complex interactive technologies without requiring specialist programming knowledge.
Antoine’s practice sits at the intersection of creative technology, interaction design and immersive media. He develops interactive systems that connect digital content with physical space, from interactive installations and projection-based experiences to XR and real-time visualisation environments.
His work brings together technologies and disciplines including Unreal Engine, Unity, creative coding, physical computing, computer vision, LiDAR, motion tracking, projection mapping, microcontrollers, and networked interactive systems.
He is particularly interested in the practical challenges of taking experimental technologies into reliable, large-scale environments.
Alongside education, Antoine has worked on interactive and immersive projects for cultural, commercial and experiential contexts, combining software, hardware and spatial systems.
In his role at the RCA, he manages and develops the Snap Visualisation Lab, supporting its technical infrastructure, facilities and the delivery of projects involving real-time 3D, immersive visualisation, spatial computing and large-scale display systems.
