Dr Anna Berenika Wojdecka

Anna’s research explores how human-centred design can support safe, trustworthy and inclusive collaboration between people and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on mutual trust in human–AI teaming. Her work on astronaut medical systems considers medical autonomy, decision-making and the challenges of future human spaceflight, bringing together design research, human factors integration and cyber-physical-human teaming.

Her wider research interests include healthcare innovation, design for behaviour change and preventative health. She works across disciplines with SMEs, people with lived experience, clinicians, engineers, researchers and industry partners, translating research into interfaces, services, tools and practical frameworks.

Her projects have included digital interfaces and platforms, product and interior design, healthcare service redesign, and long-horizon research into the design of space medical systems.
