The Vice-Chancellor of the Royal College of Art is Dr Paul Thompson.
He is the principal academic and administrative officer of the College and ex-officio chairman of the Senate. Dr Thompson exercises general supervision over the RCA and is responsible for maintaining and promoting day-to-day efficiency and good order. He reports to the Council, which is the governing body of the College.
