Vox Aeris

Improving building air quality sustainably and cost effectively.

Vox Aeris is developing a retrofittable air purification system that aims to lower the energy and maintenance costs associated with air filtration.

Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems cause significant energy usage in buildings due to the use of HEPA filters. Indoor air pollution is a significant contributor to environmental degradation and public health concerns, and can be up to five times more polluted than outdoor air. The World Health Organisation estimates that poor indoor air quality is linked to 3.2 million deaths annually.

Vox Aeris’ patent-pending pre-filtration technology leverages agglomeration to reduce particulates. This reduces the need for high powered systems to purify air, resulting in an air purification system that is more sustainable and cost effective than the alternatives.

Vox Aeris was founded by RCA graduate Selene Sari (Innovation Design Engineering MA/MSc ) after receiving Patent Support from InnovationRCA was further supported through its Proof-of-Concept Funding and High Growth Startup Programme.
