EAP Pre-Sessional Terms & Conditions 2025/26

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the RCA’s 10* week or 6 week EAP Pre-Sessional courses.

1.2 The EAP Pre-Sessional courses run for 10* or 6 weeks: please check the course and dates that you are applying to join: EAP Pre-Sessional courses, including the language entry requirements.

1.3 The EAP Pre-Sessional courses run online only using Zoom - please ensure you have a suitable internet connection for using Zoom with video and audio.

2.1 You are expected to participate online in at least 95% of the course.

2.2 In order to complete one of our EAP Pre-Sessional courses, you are are expected to complete all coursework during the EAP Pre-Sessional course at the RCA.

2.3 If you do not fulfil the attendance or coursework requirements, the admissions team at the RCA will be informed and may revoke your RCA programme offer.

3.1 You must complete our ‘Request to Join’ course form by the completion deadline as stated on our website (see here for course joining deadlines). Our admissions team will then check your language test certificates on the applicant portal. If you have met our entry requirements and your request to join one of our Pre-Sessional courses is successful, you will receive an email to confirm your place.

3.2 From when you receive your email to confirm your place on the Pre-Sessional course, you have the statutory right to cancel your contract with the EAP Pre-Sessional course at the RCA within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days after the day you receive an email confirmation of your place on the Pre-Sessional course. To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by email with a clear statement.

3.2 After the initial 14-days period, you will be required to pay the course fees. There is no refund. 

3.3 If you complete our ‘Request to Join’ course form less than 14 days before the course starts, you are not entitled to the right to cancel.

3.4 You must complete your payment before the start of the EAP Pre-Sessional course.

*If you are enrolling on a 10-week course, there will be a break between the first 4 weeks and the last 6 weeks: please check the dates for each course carefully.
