Snap Lens Lab 2026

What to expect

During the Snap Lens Lab you will gain hands-on experience of creating augmented reality, developing your knowledge and skills, and bringing your big ideas to life.

Through cultural visits, conceptual and technical workshops, feedback sessions, presentations and mentoring led by RCA faculty and Snap experts, you’ll be supported in experimenting with what augmented reality is and can be, and how it can impact our world.

Key dates

The Lens Lab will take place from Monday 20 July to Friday 7 August 2026, with an additional half-day pre-sessional online welcome activity on 17 July 2026 (morning only).

Eligibility

Snap Lens Lab @ Royal College of Art is provided specifically for 18+ year olds from underserved communities in London.

Cost (free)

This free programme will provide students with travel and expenses which will cover full participation in the Lab.
