SustainLab RCA presents Remind Me of My SENSES, a SURCA-supported exhibition taking place from 15 to 19 December 2025 at the Hockney Gallery, Kensington Campus.

Featuring works by 15 RCA artists and collectives across various media, the exhibition explores how reconnecting with our SENSES can cultivate RESILIENCE as a foundation for SUSTAINABLE MINDSETS.

In a world driven by speed and constant information, our senses are increasingly dulled. We see more but “look” less; we hear constantly but rarely “listen”. This quiet numbing weakens our connection to ourselves, others, and the natural environment.

The exhibition proposes that a sustainable future begins with resilient hearts, and such resilience starts with the awakening of the senses. As our senses reawaken, we do not only look at the world but feel our participation in it—through sound, touch, movement, and presence. This shift from distant observation to embodied, conscious experience opens space for more caring and responsible actions.

Sustainability is not a fixed endpoint but a resilient process of continuous adjustment, renewal, and forward movement informed by experience and awareness.
