Online Q&A - EAP (English for Academic Purposes) pre-sessional courses

If you think you may not reach the required English language level to begin your programme at the RCA, the College runs online pre-sessional courses before programmes begin and offer in-sessional support during the academic year.

We offer two intensive online pre-sessional courses before the main RCA programmes begin, to support you in getting ready to communicate at the appropriate level and with effective skills for your degree.

Who is this event for

• Those interested in postgraduate study at the Royal College of Art and in need of additional English support
• Current RCA applicants and offer-holders
• Friends and family are also welcome to join, though please ensure they have a ticket

How to join

This event will take place virtually on Zoom. The event is free to attend, but you will need to register through Eventbrite to guarantee your spot and receive the Zoom link.

To avoid any technical issues on the day, we recommend you download the latest version of Zoom in advance.

What to expect

Our virtual events are much more like conversations. You are very welcome to switch on your webcam and ask questions, but if you prefer to remain off-camera and listen, that’s perfectly fine too.
