08:00 EXHIBITION OPENS: check-in, coffee and tea, pop-up walk-ins.

09:00 - 09:30 Opening ceremony: "Your UK moment starts in LA"

09:30 - 10:15 Main stage: “The power of education to drive innovation”

10:15 - 11:10 Exhibition and creative showcase dedicated time.

11:10 - 12:00 GREAT Sessions: Block 1 (Programming will run concurrently in three rooms).

  • Engineering a better world: clean energy, sustainable building, and healing hearts - Durham University Location: Scottish Room

  • Enjoy lunch on us and hear from alumni from leading UK and US art and design partner universities share the real stories behind their creative careers - how studio projects became jobs, commissions or independent practices.
  • Hosted by University of Arts London and Raquel Villanueva, UK alumna, television host, and journalist based in LA. Her work currently focuses on science communication and space exploration at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Location: King’s Hall
