
Rory is a filmmaker, screenwriter and animator who works across fiction and documentary in a range of techniques on character-led, comedy-driven stories.
Rory has led the RCA Embodying Voice character animation workshop since 2017 and teaches on the MA Character Animation course at Central Saint Martins. He has over a decade of experience as a freelance director, animator, and compositor across commercials, music videos and commissioned documentaries. As a writer he is currently developing long-form comedy projects for television.
Rory’s practice focuses on character animation, visual writing, and storytelling, using experimental narrative techniques to explore spontaneity and improvisation. He holds an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art and a BA in Computer Visualisation and Animation from Bournemouth University.
