Nathan Su
- Associate Lecturer
Nathan is a production designer, technologist, and architectural researcher. He co-directs of Inferstudio, a digital worldbuilding and investigative design practice.
Nathan has worked as an advanced researcher for Forensic Architecture, and has taught in architecture schools internationally, including at UCLA, the Architectural Association (AA), and Strelka Institute. He studied architecture at the University of Melbourne and at the AA, where he received Diploma Honours.
At Inferstudio, Nathan works through immersive films and images that imagine fictional futures; both aspirational and cautionary. He also develops digital visualisations that interpret and communicate complex environmental realities from our world today.
His projects converge around themes of ecology, land/ocean-scapes, and extended reality.
At the RCA, Nathan teaches on ADS13.
