Alana Stewart

As Interim Director of People & Culture, Alana is responsible for shaping and delivering the College’s people strategy, ensuring that employee experience, organisational culture, and workforce development align with our strategy and values.
Alana is an experienced employee relations and people-focused leader. She has a strong track record of leading through complex change, building effective partnerships with trade unions and stakeholders, and leading large, diverse teams in high-pressure environments.
Before joining the RCA in 2022, she spent almost two decades in operational leadership roles at Transport for London. As a trained coach and negotiator, Alana brings strategic insight, strong communication skills, and a collaborative leadership style to every challenge.
