Drawing Studio

The Drawing Studio is a College-wide resource. We run course-specific workshops and classes for some programmes. We also provide evening classes that are open to all students and staff.

Evening Classes

  • Drawing Practice
  • Experiments in Drawing
  • Life Drawing

Classes are taught by drawing tutor Len Massey and are open to both staff and students.

Classes are held weekly during term time on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays from 5.30–8.30pm. They are run on a drop-in/drop-out basis, allowing students and staff the freedom to attend according to how much time they have free.

The Drawing Studio also run the Royal Comix of Art publishing project with comix book artist and RCA alumnus Doctor Simpo.

The Drawing Studio is available to book by RCA departments from 10am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Students are also able to book the Drawing Studio to work on their projects and use the space, including weekends, when available.

We supply a basic range of materials free for students and staff to use within the studio.
