<Translation-Mr.Interpretation and Mrs.Translation:I know you will disappear, but I still love you>
The word 'hello' probably means an orange in my images.
I am interested in making translations between images and texts.
Intertextuality in texts and interpretations are the key question in my life and art.
There are always translations in my works and my images always encompass texts and interpretations. These kind of texts and interpretations are already becoming a new image in my work, and the objects-such as oranges-are being interpreted to express my voice and situation of grammatical Chinese patterns. This is the reason why I started to think about intertextuality in texts and interpretations of Chinese in my works.
On the other hand, translations are not only between in different texts, but also between in different images and objects.
You may ask me why I choose oranges and orange peels to become the main character in my work. This is actually the same question for me to ask myself.
My expressions, interpretations and concept is not about how to tell you my art is. It is more about how to tell you what my special life is.

Personal Statement:
The word 'hello' probably means an orange in my images.
I am interested in making translations between images and texts.
Intertextuality in texts and interpretations are the key question in my life and art.
There are always ‘translations’ in my works and my images always encompass texts and interpretations. These kind of texts and interpretations are already becoming a new image in my work, and the objects – such as oranges – are being interpreted to express my voice and situation. I use ‘translation’ in the sense of using English words in a situation of grammatical Chinese patterns.
My expressions, interpretations and concept is not about how to tell you my art. It is more about how to tell you my life.
