Anywhere Wedding
Cultural Refinement through Products: Research into how products can be elevated to a new cultural level
People use a diverse range of products according to time, place and occasion (TPO). Products are designed and updated to meet the requirements of these situations; these improvements help to shape human culture. For this study, I made two works: Anywhere Wedding and Candlelight Tea Set.

Yurii Kasao is a Japanese designer currently based in London. She creates products with a greater sense of cultural refinement. Yurii’s work blends both traditional and modern materials, techniques and aesthetics. This design approach provides new satisfaction and greater sensitivity to users. Previously, Yurii worked on a collaborative project/internship with Nike Japan and designed various apparel which utilised different material combinations to create new ways of using products.
