Her Cabinet of Curiosities
I believe that jewellery is a medium for women to voice their story. Jewellery, as an intimate and secretive collection, makes an intriguing form of narrative. My interest lies in how society defines femininity and gender stereotypes of beauty and women around the world. I explore notions spanning from feminine theory to emotionally grim stories.

I have always had a keen desire to create; I've liked using my tactile sense since I was very young. Naturally I decided to major in art, specialising in Painting at a university that offered me a myriad of skills and opportunities to seek eclectic art across a variety of disciplines. I had a growing interest in the practicality of art, which in turn led me to my enthusiasm for jewellery: it has function as well as a mutual and intimate relationship with the wearer. My inspiration for creating and designing jewellery comes from the wearer, in particular women. I believe that jewellery can ignite imagination and fantasy in women’s everyday lives.Â
