MA work

MA work

I've been interested in 'transformables' since I was a boy. It is common to boys across the world. How many transformable robots have passed over our memories? Why do they generate so much enthusiasm? Some say it's childish. But I assume it is human instinct.

Ironically, 'childishness' is now becoming key for the future. We are using 'all in one' products everyday. A mobile can be a Walkman, PDA and camera as well. I believe it is the perfect solution between human instinct and limitations of the environment.

I've worked on several 'multipliable vehicle' projects for Hyundai, Kia and GM from college to professional level. Now, as an experienced designer, I am continuing with another 'transformable' concept as my final MA project at the RCA.
