Vulnus Cura

My approach to design is narrative based. This collective is based on the story of mending, something that is broken and start healing to finally fully recovered. The collection explores the form of human body, and the relationship of garments to its body. It explores the paradox of clothing and inner power, the frangibility and strength of women, and the strength of revealing and celebrating one's body. Investigate on the idea "when i am weak, i am strong" where the body starts with more layers and slowly reducing and reveal to body as a form. For this collection, i also develop accessories with 3D printing

    MA Fashion Womenswear, 2017

  • Through the clothing, I can have more understanding of wearers themselves.  My approach to design is narrative based, it is always an abstract feeling of what people feel under certain circumstance, and from there comes the idea of cut, silhouette, colour and fabrication.
