Cyborg: Awakening
This performance work tells an awakening story of a plant-human cyborg.Â
What if there are rhizomes growing from inside your heart, with a jungle bursting out from under your skin? What if you feel so natural about the bodily changes, as if the plant agents are embedded?
Since the Vitruvian Man by Da Vinci we have been framed by the only standard about what a perfect man should be. The possibility of cyborg imagination stimulates us to imagine to live as a complex subject; composed of both human and non-human agents. In this case we are encouraged to dismiss the essentialist pattern and break the dual structure from humanism.

Digital videos. Immersive experience. Interactive installation. Graphic design.
As a visual artist I am always interested in using digital technologies to depict my futuristic imagination. My work explores the relationship between physicality and virtuality – human and non-human, organism and machine – in context of informatics developing.
