no.3001 stranger
In our life time we will meet around 29.2 million people, but only make friends with 3000 of them.
In November 2017 I decided to find out: Who they are?
I have set up a series of “rules” in this work but those limitations fading quickly after project started. There is a cognitive gap between ourselves and others when it encounter with judgment, perception, emotion and experience content. Performative acts of memory and movement reveals an inherent social awkward experience and unreliable facts.
The reason to start with actions is to create an evidence and space for storytelling. Performance through the action try to evokes resonance from audience.
This is a story with many potential ends. Which only exist with the strangers and K.Y.L.

Contesting the division between the realm of memory and the realm of experience. Fiction as method as a central idea, focus on the inability of visualize reality and and the dysfunctions of language to represent the hardness of reach those encountered. The language and photofit in my work are here to be missing to further show the dependence on each individual(including myself) subjective circumstances.
As an artist, I have set up a series of “rules” in each of my works but those limitations fading quickly after project started. There is a cognitive gap between I/us and others when it encounter with judgment, perception, emotion and experience content. Performative acts of memory and movement reveals an inherent social awkward experience and unreliable facts. I set up rules to make those gaps show up. It has to start with actual actions then later on through multiple ways to present those represent. The reason to start with actions is to create an evidence and space for storytelling. Performance through the action try to evokes resonance from audience. In story, people drive their emotions on something they knew as purely fictional because fiction mirroring our life in a way and giving as possibility to imaging more.
At that moment when performance becomes ornament, truths strengthen the phenomenon. When fiction language fading, ambiguities strengthen the phenomenon. By use medium and non-linear narrative in various forms to show the surface of nothingness and truth.
