Within the theme of water at ocean, Yeun Ho’s work focuses on expressing live textures such as movements, ripples, reflections, and perceptions by exploring alluring colour and distinctive material combination possibilities. Her main concept is to bring in the experience of water and often displays large scaled ‘water like’ woven works to transform the space, as well as to alter the viewer’s perspectives of textiles through her woven responses. Using the exploration of material and texture and finding new possibilities, she deliberately exposes textile works and questions the audience to sense the ‘water’ in different ways. She also expects to direct the viewer to convey various types of feelings and emotions that could be depicted depending on the particular qualities of the textures.
