X Memo

X Memo is trying to explore the ways visually impaired people can experience their memory. Unlike sighted people who can use visual information such as photos to access those memorable moments, visually impaired people so far use mostly audio descriptions of photos or their own diary to recall those memorable moments in their life. Tactile sense was explored for help visually impaired people to access memory more emotionally. X Memo is designed based on future photos, so visually impaired people can take photos more independently and re-access the past moments through a 3D tangible media.

Max

The gig economy represents the most substantial change in the relationship between employment, income and benefits since the industrial revolution. This economic shift has been driven primarily by authoritative centralised entities such as Uber, but now requires innovative solutions to return strategy, autonomy and control to gig economy workers. Max is a software/system solution which addresses the issue of income volatility in this quickly growing form of employment. With predictive analytics software, Max enables gig economy workers to make more deliberate decisions to maximise their earnings. Max helps workers understand where to be and when in order to optimise take home pay after expenses. We envision eventual full blockchain integration, enabling a completely decentralised system.
