MA work

MA work

This body of work is dedicated to material development. My approach to designing textiles is experimental and applicable to both the body and space.

The central focus for this project is to explore new possibilities for cork through good design and function. It is largely inspired by the colours of Lisbon, and a research trip to the heartland of cork production (Alentejo, South Central Portugal).

This collection is a playful 'pick and mix' of materials and innovative surface treatments.
