Fish is What I Desire
'In obedience there is always
fear, and fear darkens the mind.'
–Jiddu
Krishnamurti
Fish is What I Desire is a thrilling narrative based on my adolescent experience. A choice has to be made between morality and obedience to authority. I borrow an essay from Mencius, which I studied in school, as the title of my film. Fish becomes a metaphor of a precious thing to a person in this film.

I like to draw the movement I observe, not only through my eyes but using all my senses. By animating objects, I am recording what I sense, and I intend to deliver these feelings to my audience as honestly as possible.
But there is always a journey from observation to comprehension. Through writing, drawing and film making, I wish to create a vivid image that embodies life, and also helps myself to understand the experience.
