Autonomous Smart Future

Autonomous Technology brings new opportunities to change the world of transportation. The interest in privately owned cars will be declining and users will want convenience but not responsibility.

The ideal way to transport people is to increase the capacity of every single vehicle and car share could be the solution.

In the near future, Instant City Delivery will create a huge market for food and small parcel delivery.   Current logistic methods are not effective in terms of time and cost.

The Future City will need to provide a high quality service and an extremely efficient transportation system banning private cars and replacing them with a highly efficienct fleet service that not only provides transportation for people but also food and parcel delivery.

This new and extremely efficient logistic system design in connection with a L4/L5 Fully Autonomous vehicle for a 2040 urban city opens up a big opportunity. By increasing capacity and use of individual vehicles the total number of cars needed on the road is reduced freeing up the city space and making the best use of time and energy.

    MA Vehicle Design, 2018

  • I was born in China, but settled in the UK. Trained to be an artist from a young age, but always have had my heart in car design, since graduating from Northumbria University, I have started my own business rather than designing however, after those years of successful entrepreneurial experience, I still cannot ignore my passion of becoming a car designer. That is why I have decided to study at the Royal College of Art to further develop myself and my vehicle design skills.

I am ambitious and goal-oriented, and keen to find a challenging position within a progressive automotive/transportation or industrial design studio to express my value in creativity.
