Show Guide

Xueling’s practice is about building up a platform that people can share and communicate, based on a communal reading experience. It is an audience-led activity where the presenter does not take control.

'Reading is not just books

Reading is not just privateness

Reading is loud

Reading is connecting

Reading is experiencing

Reading is sharing

Reading is communicating'

In terms of her practice and what she is going to develop in the future, Xueling finds her interest lies not in how to change the way people read or how to challenge the tradition of publication, but how people communicate. Most of her projects aim to connect people, create real interactions between them, and build up a platform that enable people to interact, be involved, and have fun.
