Xing Zhou

MA work

OhWow

My work is about hiding surprises inside jewellery and giving people unexpected sensory feelings. I use strong contrasting colours to make eyes light up for the unexpected treats contained inside. The use of hard and soft materials is inspired by oysters, which hide precious treasures inside their hard shell. The shape and colour tone of my pieces will change once it's worn on the body.
