NOOK
After travelling in over 30 countries and living abroad for years, I see how much people’s lives can be enriched by connecting with others across the globe. When we travel abroad, I believe we all want to feel like locals wherever we visit.
NOOK is a social service that builds authentic connections between visitors and locals. It helps people meet others who have the same passion regardless of where in the world they are from. It helps to not only create a local experience but also a sharing of lives across cultures.
Travel links the world and makes magic happen.

After engaging in a wide range of creative design areas such as product, interaction and engineering design, I see myself as an interdisciplinary designer who focuses on design for social impact, especially the daily lives of people. My industrial design background has equipped me with the skills to adapt to a variety of projects. My more recent pursuit of service design has added to this through developing a more rigorous approach to design research, design strategy and systematic thinking in a wide range of projects. I believe service design is not only about meeting users’ needs but also about driving human behaviour for the better.
