Melancholy
Xiao is a textile designer specialising in luxury woven fabrics and print finishing with her background of fashion design. Using colours, materials and constructions, she creates work which evokes different moods, environments and atmospheres. She is inspired by the feelings, memories and surroundings in everyday life.
Her current project focuses on the cycle of melancholy taking over and vanishing away. She has developed a varied collection from silk organza to heavy Swedish lace for fashion throughout all four seasons.
